1. Hand touch: that is, touch the leather surface with your hands. If it feels smooth, soft, plump, and elastic, it is real leather; while the surface of general artificial synthetic leather is astringent, rigid, and poor in softness.
2. Seeing: the real leather surface has relatively clear hairs and patterns, the yellow cowhide has relatively uniform fine pores, the yak leather has thick and sparse pores, and the goat leather has fish scale-like pores.
3. Smell: All genuine leather has a leather smell; while artificial leather has a strong irritating plastic smell.
4. Ignite: Tear off a little fiber from the back of the real leather and artificial leather. After ignition, it will emit a pungent smell. The artificial leather will be knotted.
