As we all know, the price of leather bags is quite expensive. What everyone is worried about is the authenticity of the leather.  OEM/ODM backpack manufacturers will teach you a few tips to identify leather:

1. Look at the cortical surface

The leather surface selected by luggage manufacturers has relatively clear pores and patterns. The pores of cowhide are thin and dense, arranged irregularly, and the leather is smooth. The yellow cowhide has relatively well-proportioned fine pores, and goatskin has scale-like pores;

2.  look at the edge section of the cortex

Luggage manufacturers teach you to look at the edge section of the leather. Turn out the leather edges of cowhide bags, wallets, etc. to see that the leather is looser and has animal fibers, while the artificial leather is tighter and has no fibers.

No matter how good the imitation leather is, it cannot be the same as leather on the edge;

3.  press the leather surface with your fingers

Press the leather with your fingers, and there will be fine wrinkles on the surface. When you lift your fingers, the wrinkles will disappear immediately. Artificial leather and synthetic leather have no wrinkles, and some wrinkles will not disappear naturally after pressing;

4.  smell the skin

Leather and fake leather can also be distinguished by smell. The real leather obviously has an animal smell, while the fake leather is relatively more prone to the irritating plastic smell;

5. Ignite

tear off a little fiber from the back of the leather and artificial leather, and after lighting it, those that emit a pungent smell and form knots are artificial leather; those that emit hair odor and do not form hard knots are leather;
